|09:31 am - Sunday lovelies|
I've not disappeared, I'm just busy and tired and hot and sad about the world. But let's do three lovely things on this Sunday --
1) Thanks to an article in today's Observer, I learned about singer-songwriter Benjamine Clementine. Here's a sample of his work -- the piano-driven, raw "Cornerstone".
2) This gorgeous, floral-heavy, contemplative photo on a woman in a field of flowers: an Erik Madigan shot from the September issue of Harpers Bazaar UK.
3) This medieval archway/staircase in Honfleur, which is inspiring some original writing. [waves at stateless82 and mobile_alh]
May your day be filled with lovely things!
[EDITED TO ADD: Twin sisters do an acoustic mashup of Cups and Pompeii's "Bastille". Just wonderful.]

*hugs & cooling breezes* The world is ugly and mean and scary, especially of late. Good thing there's the internet and lovely images to find and share.
Hugs and better days to you, A!

You've certainly provided some lovely pictures. I've been to Honfleur but completely missed that gorgeous medieval archway and staircase. Possibly I was too stunned by all the lovely food I'd eaten to notice anything else!
Lovely food seems completely worthwhile to me. :)
Thanks, K, and cheers and hugs to you!

Oh, I want to go up those stairs!
I love that whole space. [admires]
Delightful pictures, great musicians! I greatly enjoyed it all. Many thanks.
I'm so glad the links worked for you! Cheers, and a good rest of your Sunday. :)
I love that photo of the woman and the field of flowers.
I actually caught my breath the first time I saw that photo.
Hugs and a great day!
And a great week to you, L!
Many hugs sent your way. :)
hugs, L, and strength for the upcoming days...and tea for the day's woes. The world is scary.
Hugs and strength for you too, F!
Nice pictures and song! Hope you have a chance to cool off and take a break soon.
Next break is is mid-October! Which is when the weather will cool off, too. :)
Cheers and a good Tuesday to you.
