|04:01 pm - Things I Love, Part the Millionth|
It's a chilly grey day here in the subtropics (which was not forecast, but we carry on). I do love an overcast day in midwinter, and yes, I acknowledge that I am saying that whilst living in a state ordinarily most sunshiny and so don't have the experience of grey upon grey for months. Anyway. It's grey and misty and nice. I love it.
I also recently finished reading a fantasy-romance novel wherein the hero and heroine plan a time-travel journey to Elizabethan London. Can you guess what famous author is a magician whom they will meet? Yep, it's that bloody Marlowe again. So what I would love and do not know how to access: a fantasy-romance-magic novel wherein Will Shakespeare is basically Prospero-slash-King-of-Magic and Kit Marlowe is just some writer-spy bloke without magic of any kind or all of freakin' Faerie in love with him or similar. That's what I would love.
I have had a pot of tea with local honey, drunk from an "I-am-SHER-locked" mug. This I love.
I am wearing a new, perfect white shirt from Thomas Pink. It's a classic fit, which means it's sort of slouchy and loose on the body rather than too fitted, which further means that if I find myself dancing in the middle of the afternoon to a Clarence Wheeler and the Enforcers funk tune I have no fear of constriction. Also I can pretend I'm vaguely Emmanuelle Alt (editor of Paris Vogue) when I go out to meet friends tonight, what with jeans and a pair of (low-ish) heels. I love all of that.
What are you loving today? I hope you have an abundance of it.

Someone should really write that novel! (Hmm, maybe you should write that novel?) :-)
Hee. If only I had a story to go with my insistence that it's Shakespeare who's the cool one! :)

I agree, you should write that novel :) If only to answer the question of who Shakespeare really was.
Have a fun New Years Eve!
Hee. Shakespeare is the Man from Stratford, no question. :)
Happy New Year to you, T!
Your tea experience sounds like perfection! (And I read your shirt sentence as DANNY Pink, which was all kinds of odd.)
Hugs, and happy 2015 to you!
(PS Please write that novel.)
Hugs, dancing, and Champagne for you in the New Year, F! :)
That shirt sounds lovely, and exactly the kind of thing I would picture you wearing. Right now I am loving the the rose brown Nars satin lip pencil I bought today (year end sale at Sephora!) and the new copper/silver Skagen watch I got for Xmas. Also chocolate. I always love chocolate.
Happy New Year! ((Hugs))
That lip pencil and that watch sound FABULOUS.
Hugs hugs, and a better 2015!
Yay for perfect shirts and for Shakespeare as the main man.
Thanks! And yay for you on this Monday! :)
