|11:41 am - Clinging to Good Things, Post #17|
So exhausted. So swamped at work, and unsupported. No real relief in sight. So tired of politics -- I wish I could vote now and be done with it, without the constant fear of nightmare people being elected; wish I could help those in other states whose government has gone mad.
So let us cling to good things:
*Champagne in the fridge
*Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere, which I love more each time I reread
*Wearing an Alexander Calder Vertical Leaves t-shirt bought at the Tate Modern (and, because it's a man's shirt, altered here in my Small Town to fit me)
*Rain last night, gentle here, and more rain to come
*Walking (with a wee bit of running) two miles this morning, in cool-damp loveliness
*Sleepy Hollow tonight
*My allergies MAYBE having improved enough to go back to yoga
What's good for you today?

[clings to Crane and Abbie]

Neverwhere is indeed a treat and as for good things here, the storage container is going away this week and the garage is all done but the final inspection. (Cheers weakly.)
I can bear no more of poitics....
HURRAH for the storage container going away and the completion of this long project! Are you happy with the result?
