|08:15 am - Your Horoscope for Today|
What do the stars foretell about your day?
Today you will open a nineteenth-century novel, and the room will fill with coal-smoke fog.
Today you will duck the punches thrown at you.
Today you will sit on the grass, put your fingers in the earth, and dig to Hong Kong. (Or, should you be on the opposite side of the world, Chattanooga.)
Today you will get a contact buzz from the scent of brownies wafting from an open window.
Today you will high-kick like Ruby Keeler, even though you don't know who Ruby Keeler was.
Today you will sing "Home on the Range" from your high-rise apartment in the city, and somewhere in the exurbs a hound will bay in accompaniment, even though his owners will think he's making a fuss about nothing.
Today you will score a goal.
Today you will not watch ants marching, because you don't dig that kind of regimentation even in the animal world.
Today you will find the Perfect Song in your collection of music, and you won't remember where you got it.
Today you will collect condensation from the side of a glass and flick it high enough that it will make a cloud.
Today you will sit in a darkened room and remember.
Today you will stretch.
Happy today to you all!
Hearts in return! :-)
Happy Saturday, too.
So, so many thanks. Otherwise, you have rendered me speechless.
Thank you, H_P!
And happy conferencing, and happy journey home, too! :-)
Oh, lovely...and I've already achieved the last two. Excellent forecast!
hugs and a happy Saturday to you.
The stars are never wrong! :-)
Okay, well, sometimes...
But hugs, ALH, and good cheer, and happy trip-planning. :-)

Today you will be hugged.
Hugs and more hugs to you, L! Happy end of the week!
And happy today to you!
Today I will listen to the rain on the roof and be torn between relief that the more than eight-inch precipitation deficit for the year will be made up and judgement rained down of the Fish and Wildlife Service in equal measure and worry that the roof and siding may not keep the water out.
Julia, the Nisqually NWR is in a state of devegetation and explaining how and why their plans for changing the dikes is stupid would take too long to explain, but in short: nobody involved in the project has ever worked in a tidal zone before.
Your horoscope will include a dry interior, Julia!
[hugs and sympathies for rain/flooding issues]
Excellent horoscopes! :-)
Now I want brownies...
[sends brownies to L.A.]
[sends hugs too]
::waves, pours you a very frosty flute of bubbly::
Lovely post, L.
[shares bubbly and the finger-food of your choice]
Thank you, F! Hugs and a happy end of weekend! :-)
To cloud-making! And then stretching to reach them.
You are pure joy. ((hugs))
[sends gratitude and lots and lots of hugs] I hope you're feeling better, too. Happy Sunday!
Happy today to you too!
Thanks and thanks and a happy MONDAY to you. :-))
That's utterly awesome. :-) Thank you.
I'm so glad you liked it, A! [sends gratitude and hugs from me and the Dog of the House]
