I'd give Spike a Dobermann.

He'd get someone who loved him absolutely.

It's so fascinating you see Spike with a dog! (Since fanon was always that he was a Big Cat. ;))

Cheers and hugs!

He moves like a cat. He'd like to think of himself as a cat or lone wolf.

But he loves like a dog. Absolutely.

And a Dobe would adore him.

Mary Russell (Laurie R King's wonderful novels) would need a mutt...like the wild, brave, slightly brazen kids she meets in her novels. Someone who is totally devoted to her and she will be ever wondering why {G}

In the Moffat version of Sherlock, a big gray tabby who is totally self sufficient. {G}

I am fascinated by the idea of Mary Russell with a dog! And amused at the thought of LRK's Holmes dealing with said dog. :)

Moffat's Holmes and a grey tabby would be hilarious. What an inspired choice.

Thanks so much for playing along! Cheers and hugs!

I just have a vision of the tabby going to Ms. Hudson's kitchen much the way Sherlock was raiding her fridge. {G}

I just had a mental flash of Moffat's Mycroft as a big grey tabby tomcat.

It's Monday, and my brain is a very weird place...

Heee. My own preference would be for Mycroft to OWN such a cat, but I can see where you get that. ;)

Cheers and a great Monday to you!

I just met a hedgehog for the first time and it was adorable, so I want to give someone one of those, but I have no idea who. Possibly one of the incarnations of the Doctor?

Oh, cool! I will ponder which Doctor (because only a couple of them would match a hedgehog), and also think about book characters....

This is fabulous. Thank you, S! Hugs hugs!

It seems perfectly appropriate that many characters should NOT have pets. You are wise, L. :)

But I like the idea of an office cat too -- in fiction, anyway, since I'm allergic. What a cool idea!

Hugs and a happy Monday!
