|04:14 pm - Writer's (b)lock|
So, I am now struggling with writer's (b)lock regarding today's entry in this second month of the post-every-day lark.
Everything I would post about is either other people's stories and not mine to share, or whingeing. Hideous whingeing. Embarrassing Corgi-howls of whingeing. No, I don't think so.
What have I been doing otherwise? In the past couple of days I've watched some dance, done some dance, cursed the heat, walked the beast, walked the outdoor market, spoke to friends, counseled friends, cracked some smiles, hid some frowns, ate healthily, resented eating healthily, played new Pet Shop Boys, didn't play hopscotch, steam-ironed a shirt, wilted in the steam, made a list, tore up a list, stared at the computer screen.
But by God, I have posted something. ;)
May your evening be free of blocks, may you slide easily into your new week.

Hugs and a good start to Monday ahead, L!
When you write it all down, it sounds like a productive few days, actually.
Still, hugs and hopes for cooler weather!
It really hasn't been productive, though. Ah well. We persevere!
Hugs and a glass of good Sonoma wine for your Sunday evening delight. :)
Several of those done things sound lovely ... your ability to keep doing is one thing I really admire about you!
I have failed at doing what I should, though. Alas.
But we persevere, and DANCE!
[puts on music you can dance to without straining your tendon etc etc]

Sounds like a lot to me - dancing, walking, ironing seems anything but blocked. The "didn't play hopscotch" is intriguing too :)
Hope the weather cools down and the blocks tumble down :)
I thought about doing a quick round of hopscotch at the park, on faded chalk lines a child had drawn. But I didn't. ;)
Hugs hugs, K! Joy to you!
::wishes you less heat and humidity::
Wednesday, they tell us, will be our break in the weather. Currently, however, it's the subtropical version of the White Witch's spell on Narnia: instead of always winter and never Christmas, it's 75% humidity and no rain. We carry on.
Hugs and henna, Gwynne!
Oh, c'mon. You can always whinge to us!
I did enjoy the "didn't play hopscotch".
If I started whingeing I'd never stop. ;)
Cheers, Cronopio, and a great Texas autumn ahead, with crisp nights and blue blue skies.
Pretty good for a block! We're always glad to hear more details about any of those adventures--especially the Corgi howls.
Master Danger has been so sweet today -- after days of being Dog from the Hellmouth -- that I can't tell tales on him. :)
Cheers and moonglow, Mamculuna! Happy start to your week.

It's your blog. I think you should whinge if you wanna. Or if it helps to vent. Or whatever.
If I started whingeing, the pettiness of my own self would depress me. No one wants that. :)
Hugs, A, and respite during your tough start to your week!

I understand your reasoning, and I wish I was that strong. Unfortunately, if I don't whinge in my online journal, my head will explode, or I'll start smiting family members, or even consider kicking cats, and none of that is good.
So I use my journal as a place to vent, and you're kind enough to lend a sympathetic eye, as it were, when I need it.
Hugs, and I hope your week improves as well as the weather.
You're perfectly justified *and* strong in using your online journal to vent! Don't think otherwise. [hugs]
Blocks are everywhere these days.
There's been some cool weather here, perhaps it will make it's way to you this week.
The forecasters say Wednesday will be the turn. I do not yet believe them. ;)
Hugs hugs, cool weather, chili and good things where you are!
Thanks, L, and thanks so much for commenting as I've gone on this mad course.
All good changes to you, and a great Monday! [hugs]
