|06:20 pm - Things for Which I am Currently Thankful|
I was contemplating a small whinge about how the cold front currently rushing into the subtropics will bring our morning low down to 39 or 40, dear heavens -- but then I saw the national weather forecast and reconsidered. Warmth to those of you further north, I send you warmth!
And since I am now thankful that the current forecast doesn't take us below freezing, I should list other things for which I am thankful right now, today, in this second day of 2014:
*a wonderful pot of Twinings Lemon-Ginger Herbal Tea, just right for a wet,
cold slightly chilly Thursday evening.
*the knowledge that because this is a more enlightened age, I only have to wait two and a half weeks until Sherlock Series 3 premieres Stateside, where once upon a time it would have been months.
*my new Union Jack cushions for my study armchairs.
*the fact that I did manage to put Traveller and Wish-Queen up at Smashwords, after a series of regrettable cursewords in the process, and which should be the prelude to B&N and Kobo and Apple availability soon.
*stateless82 and mobile_alh for invaluable critique and support, and in earlier permutations of T&W-Q paratti and headrush100 for same.
*the departure for parts unknown of the horrible neighbors to my east.
May you have things to be thankful for, on this second day of 2014!
I am thankful for the current ridiculous (but pleasant) warm weather we're having.
Soon-ish there will be Sherlock!
Hurrah for warm weather in Cali and for Sherlock soon-ish! (I am thoroughly spoiled and therefore anticipating it all the more.)
Cheers and hugs!
Ah, you've saved the best news for last. SO. GLAD. :hugs:
Also, brr, and more hot tea!
Yes indeed, Master Danger and I may walk our street again in peace! :)
Cheers, warmth, and tea, F. Brrr indeed.
Heat is VERY necessary, especially in the cold North! [offers a warm drink]
Cheers and thanks for a great list!

[hugs and a good weekend]
Hello, again, L. I've come creeping back to the internet, just in time to discover your lovely book, which I am happily reading through while hiding from the cold outside.
So glad to see you, Winding_Path, I've been thinking of you!
Hugs and many thanks, and all good thoughts for your staying warm.
