|09:20 am - Today's Good Things|
Roll-call of today's Good Things!
I'm drinking Fortnum and Mason green tea with ginger.
I'm treating myself with oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips, made from a recipe in Mark Bittman's How to Cook Everything.
I'm wearing a soft cashmere sweater, a grey frock coat, and a warm soft scarf that looks like a Jackson Pollock splatter painting in blues with a hint of red.
I'm pleased with today's freezing walk at sunrise, because a) we made it, and b) Master Danger and I encountered one of our favorite neighbors, who allowed the young master to sniff her boots in almost a sweet manner.
I'm listening to the Modern Jazz Quartet's soundtrack for a 1959 Roger Vadim film No Sun in Venice, because sometimes all one needs is a little vibraphone in one's day.
What's good in your day? Cheers, and may your list of goodness be long. :)

Fog this morning, which did wonders for my scratchy throat and sinuses while it lasted.
Going shopping with Elder Daughter to the Goodwill and TJ's. She had as much fun thrifting as I did, I think.
ED reporting back on the goldfinch feeders in the back yard. The birds have found them, and the feeders now need to be refilled almost every day.
I hope for more good things for you tomorrow. *hugs*
Oh hurrah for fog as bringer of ease! And cheers for thrifting and goldfinches and you. [hugs]
