The month-o'-posting streak almost ended today. I am bereft of topics.
I would let Master Danger post, but he too is currently sulking in front of the fan. And, much as I do love the little jerkface, this is a typical exchange between us.
Me: Hey, Danger Boy, do you want to--
Master Danger: [short, sharp, LOUD] Bark!
Me: I didn't finish--
Me: Stop it.
Me: Oh for God's sake.
MD: Bark bark bark! [nips at my knee in approved herding manner]
So, really, he's not a sparkling conversationalist. Nor am I at the moment.
Bark! Bark bark bark! (I will forego the internet equivalent of nipping.)
May you have much to think about and talk about today. :)
::tiredly barks along with Master Danger::
[offers virtual scones and hugs]
All I can say is Meow.
I have similar conversations, involving a cat whose voice has gotten louder as her ears have gotten deafer. Sometimes they're more like this:
ME: Mop, I'm in the living room.
ME: Mop! In here. IN HERE.
CAT: WOOOwwwwrrr. WOOOwwwwrrr!
ME: You're not a deserted cat. Come in here. Mop!
ME: [goes in kitchen and picks her up] HERE.
Oh, but how nice to get a PRRRRR. (Even if it necessitates going into the other room and picking her up.) Heee. :)
Cheers and a good Monday-into-Tuesday for you!

Master Danger, please do not bark at your Mistress!
How old is he? He sounds like an annoying eleven-year-old.
*stays out of range of the cranky canine*
Master Danger is two and a half, which puts him just out of canine adolescence. However, he is a Corgi, which means he's bossy by nature -- and he's a boy, so he's very In One's Face about his opinions. ;)
Have a good Monday evening! [hugs]
I have almost the same conversation with Poos.
Though she is less about opinions and more about judging. And complaining.
I am also more about complaining, I just had to turn on the heat. In April. In Houston.
Master Danger has the Corgi "baroo" for mundane interaction and complaint -- he stretches out and makes that sound, then stands up and barks for punctuation. ;)
Yikes for your April cold snap! On the other hand, maybe you can bake. :)
(I don't bake when the air-conditioner is on.)
Hugs and a good Tuesday, despite everything.
Lily and I have similar exchanges, but they involve ANGRY MEOWING and me asking Why are are you mad? ad infinitum. I keep meaning to make a video.
In conclusion, we don't have to sparkle all the time ;)
Judging from the responses here, cats apparently are chatty in whole different ways than Master Danger. :)
And thanks, Pique! You're the best! [hugs]
I hope the two of you are better tomorrow.
We live in hope. :)
Cheers and a good Tuesday, T!

You are right to be cautious, as he is in a growly mood. ;)
[hugs] Happy middle of the week!
I, for one, would enjoy reading more conversations with the young Master. They may not be sparkling for you, but they are delightful to read about in your LJ.
He pretty much just barks and baroos, to be honest! ;)
Cheers, F! Hugs!
I have done much talking over the weekend, including with the con's Guest of Honour Juliet McKenna, who is made of awesome.
