I have not quite face-planted yet today, but it could happen at any moment. (Last caffeine intake: almost 5 hours ago, after lunch.) While I am still at least a little awake...
Gosh. Is it Wednesday? Feels like October.
Actually it can't be October, because that's when my traveling starts. (Trip in October, trip in November, and London in December.) At the moment I am trying to push through my days and figure out how to get done all that needs to be done. Also I am practicing my Mehitabel the Cat impression -- "toujours gai" and "wotthehell." We'll see if that works.
So, in the interest of contemplative getting-through-the-day:
*Simone Righi wearing braces. White shirt. Sprezzatura.
*designer Carolina Herrera. Also in a white shirt. Grace.
*The Guardian review of the first night of Kate Bush's live shows. It is the very definition of a rave review.
*"Running Up That Hill" is always appropriate.
Cheers to you, and may you be running downhill toward the weekend!
I wish it felt like October here! (We are having a brief heatwave.)
Yay London in December! :-)
It doesn't feel like October in terms of weather here, either, but in terms of the busy schedule of the past weeks. A month and a half of work in three weeks, sigh.
But London is waiting.
Hugs hugs, Gwynne! Cool breezes wished for you.

Paul took a vacation day to shop for a new PC, so he was able to look up all the reviews of KaTe's first night. I am really hoping for a good concert DVD eventually, because it sounds like it was wow, unbelievable.
What's October like where you are? Because it's beastly hot here, and dry and windy with it.
Hugs and an advance bon voyage.
Wouldn't a DVD be great? She is so awesome.
Hugs and cooler days. (It's not October in terms of weather here, either. Alas.)

We have certainly had autumnal weather here for the past few days but I think we may be making a return to summer soon. Preferably not quite so hot as it was though.
I am very envious of the people who had the forethought to buy a ticket to see Kate!
Yes, it's getting hotter here now. But I am crossing my fingers it's not record-setting heat like last week!
Hope you're having adventures, K! [hugs]

Dances with you:)
We've been having October weather too this week, must be going around :) I'm excited for you and your upcoming travels!
Our October weather is gone, and alas, it's still August!
Cheers, and good stuff to you.
I hope face-planting wasn't actually required. Fall is creeping upon us with too many deadlines and not enough working hands. Eek?
Hugs and hopes for a restful weekend...
Face-planting did happen, but in a gentle way. ;)
Oh dear for deadlines and not enough hands! I hope you heal fast and feel better. [hugs hugs]
The week started out busy and everyday since has been a little crazier. And I wouldn't be surprised if half the department doesn't call out or decide to work a half-day tomorrow.
London in December is a wonderful thing to look forward to.
Hope that today is a good one, and not crazy at all! Cheers and hugs to you. :)

Happy Friday!! Let the wild rumpus begin!!
Happy Friday to you! [pours you a cup of tea to celebrate]
:hugs hugs: And today, finally, a chance to breathe at your inspired happy hour. See you soon, L!
Hugs for Fridays, especially those that precede long weekends!
Cheers, hugs, and happy hours to you, F! :)
Wow, those trips sound like fabulous opportunities to be stylish. Clearly new boots are needed. :)
I hope this weekend is going more downhill for you. ((Hugs))
Already have the new boots, my friend! :) I will probably need at least one more pair, however.
Hugs hugs! Good thoughts and better days to you!
Of course you do.:):) Enjoy the shopping, and congrats on having some great places to actually wear them. Hopefully that will make you feel better as the hot weather lingers during September.
