While I have been battling horrific sinus pressure and a sore throat all day, it matters not -- because it is FRIDAY, and because I appreciate that.

But I appreciate other things too:

*on this morning's walk, cloud-cathedrals in the east, grey edged with pink and then white

*Sam Taylor-Johnson took v. cool photos of Coco Chanel's space, as described in the Telegraph. The photograph of the staircase (in the linked article) is EVERYTHING.

*riding boots. 'Tis the season. (What, you say, isn't it 90 degrees out? La la la can't hear you.)

*friends

*art exhibits

*Benadryl

That staircase would freak me out if I had to live with it, I'd also probably fall down it, but it makes a beautiful photograph.

It's in the 70's here today- I think it's the first time in 5 months I went for a walk that wasn't defined by where the shade trees are.

It has been a vile weekend for allergies. We persevere. ;)
