|10:38 am - Two More Things Plus An Observation, Post #15|
Hullo, I must be going.
But before I plunge sneezing into the unseasonably hot and pollen-rich day, two quick links and an observation:
*Harper's Bazaar UK offers a quick guide to Champagne, cava, and prosecco. Useful! And fizzy!
*If I were in a more temperate clime with less pollen, I would like to have lunch at a table in a garden like this. Blue! Blue, blue, blue!
(Warning: Pinterest. The image comes from the Peak of Chic, who's scanned a gorgeous mid90s House Beautiful spread of Ronald Grimaldi's Hamptons cottage here. I recommend for her thoughts on "meaningful decorating" as well.)
And I must confess that I have been having thinky thoughts about Lucifer and its deconstruction of the Prince of Darkness. Hmmm. I also confess that while I never cared for D.B. Woodside as Principal Woods on Buffy, as Amenadiel he's working like anything for me. :)
Cheers and fizz for your Tuesday!

Raises a glass and passes tissues.
[pours you another glass]
You've reminded me that I still have a bottle of sparkling wine in my fridge, just waiting for the right occasion (because I forgot to open it when I sold a poem a few weeks ago!).
I hope your allergies and mine abate soon!
Hoorah! You could drink it now and celebrate Tuesday. :)
I have a bottle of Perrier-Jouet in my fridge, but I'm too sneeezy to drink, alas.
I like to think I've never needed a reason to open a bottle of Champagne :)
Hope the pollen lessens for you.
And you are wise, T! :)
Cheers for your Tuesday, and hopes for fizz!

Hugs and soft handkerchiefs heading your way.
Thank you! Hugs sent right back to you, too. :)
I did not realize Amenadiel was Principal Woods.
I've not been having thinky thoughts about Lucifer at all. Beyond Lucifer=pretty, I just keep thinking that Chloe reminds me of Cameron on House.
Lucifer IS pretty. And so deliciously camp. I've been hearing his line reading from the last episode of "This is not about you, Tiffany!" in my head ever since Monday night. :)
Cheers and hugs to you!
