08:45 am - Alternatives to Sleepy Hollow for Mison and Beharie, Post #21
In a day or two (for my own sake) I'll probably write a critique of the UTTER FUCKING DISASTER that was the end of Sleepy Hollow Season 3 -- and hopefully the series. #CancelSleepyHollow! But for now, quickly, a short list of things I would like to see Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie, and Mison&Beharie in:

Tom Mison:
**I desperately want him to play Willmore in the upcoming RSC production of The Rover, which has been announced but not (to my knowledge) cast. What a swashbuckling, loose-limbed, hilarious, sex god of a Willmore he would be! Like, I can't decide whether to go to yoga this morning or start a prayer circle with Master Danger to make this happen.
**Wouldn't it be cool if he played a villain in Series Four of Sherlock, which just started filming? Or HEY, he could be the mysterious missing Holmes Brother!
**An ITV detective drama of his own, like James Norton has.

Nicole Beharie:
**Ophelia to Oscar Isaac's Hamlet, maybe? (This 2017 production was just announced.)
**A great arc on an edgy Netflix or Amazon Prime show, where she gets to explore some morally complex stuff.

**I will personally write them a rom-com. I have ideas.
**In lieu of that, Much Ado About Nothing. Because they would rock the hell out of Benedick and Beatrice.

What show have YOU felt betrayed by but still love the main actors? ;)

What Were They Thinking?!?! ARGH. (It occurs to me that there are a bunch of season one episodes that I never saw, so at least I can go back and watch those...)

So bad. So badly written. So unutterably badly written.

I always hoped it would catch me and suck me in, maybe in a binge watch, but I guess not now.

I wouldn't necessarily say I felt betrayed by Blacklist, but I was disappointed that not even the awesomeness of James Spader made it watchable for me.

And now that I think about it, I do feel a bit betrayed by Criminal Minds- it got so violent and shock-value gory, I couldn't watch it. I think they also lost a lot of the character stuff along the way.

That's interesting about Blacklist. Yes, I like James Spader but the show was a No Thanks for me, I don't know why.

Boo about Criminal Minds. :(

If the first season of Sleepy Hollow didn't catch you back in the day, it probably wouldn't now, alas. But that's me with Supernatural, so it's all good.

Hugs hugs!
