|01:09 pm - 3-sentence story, Post #51|
Just a trifle -- the form is a story in 3 sentences. Today's word is "wintergreen."
Her boyfriend Mark always smelled of wintergreen, which was one of the 83 things Jacqueline loved best about him. On this summer evening when they were meant to be going out to dinner, however, the intense forest scent surrounding him made her pause as much as his words and the sharp, cold glint in his eyes.
"What do you mean there's been a change in plans?" she demanded, even as he pulled her out into snow and darkness.
I love it. So intriguing!
Thank you thank you! :) And a happy Sunday evening to you.

Mmm... subtly disturbing.
And so I hoped it would be! :) Thank you, K, and many hugs.

But I want to know where it goes now!
I'm going to do a quick little followup now. :)
Cheers and hugs to you, ALH!
