10:09 am - Bring Out Your Words! Bring Out Your Words! Yesterday was, according to various postings, Lurker Amnesty Day -- which really was Lurker Invitation Day, to be honest, asking folk to say hello.
But what did lurkers -- or regular commenters, for that matter -- get out of the deal?
So what I will say is this: comment on this post with a word, any word a'tall, and I will write you a sentence using that word. This offer applies to both those kind people who comment regularly and to those who once in a while stop and read the lists, tales of the Dog of the House, and occasional short fiction which make up this journal. :-)
Even if you don't comment, may you be struck with the perfect word for today!

A little late, but 'serendipity'. Two and a half sentences ;-) :
Janet always enjoyed the parrot who lived in a cage just outside the pet shop, but on this day, the bird's squawk surprised her so that she lost her balance, tripped, and fell--
Right at the feet of the best-looking human Janet had ever seen.
"Serendipity! Serendipity! Serendipity!" the parrot said again, and tapped its foot against the cage so that the metal rang.
