|04:08 pm - Scattered|
Today we're supposed to have scattered thunderstorms.
Today my attention is scattered over a hundred-five things to do.
Today the Dangerous Dog lifted his leg over several scattered bushes/light-poles/benches as we paid bills downtown.
Today I'm hearing (in my head) the Rolling Stones singing "Shattered" instead of "Scattered." (Shoo do bee.)
So, other than turning away from the Internet, what do you do to focus, to hone in, to be the opposite of scattered?
May you find your still place today... unless you like being scattered. (Shoo do bee.)
I'll write a list, seeing everything in one place gives me a bit of focus.
My problem is that I actually need to write three, no, four lists and then cross-reference them. The idea makes me tired. ;)
Cheers, and a wonderful start to your week -- with or without lists!

My problem is that I actually need to write three, no, four lists and then cross-reference them.
Think of it as an opportunity to use many different colors of pens (I recommend Sarasa gel pens). Can you break things down into smaller bites and choose one, or is that too overwhelming? If so, I understand perfectly.
[hugs and hopes that you get your week and lists under control before they devour you entirely]
You've offered a great idea, A -- now I need pens of different colors!
I really do have to figure out a better system, and that's a good one. Thank you.
[hugs and a great Tuesday]

I think it's Willow who makes notes in different colored pens. Around here it's also an excuse to collect lots of different colors. Anything to make the chore more fun, right?

Hugs hugs and a great slide into Tuesday, L!
My attention is scattered too! And now I have "Shattered" stuck in my head. :-)
Such an earworm! I should be sorry, I know....
[offers tea or coffee]
I take a walk. Or a shower. I have this theory that sometimes if you just leave things alone a bit, they prioritize themselves.
So far it hasn't turned out to be true, but sometimes I just don't want to make a list either.
(chitter chatter chitter chatter)
I do like the take-a-walk method, but not in the subtropics in July. Five minutes of dancing, though, might be the ticket.
Hugs, S, and a great day!
Shoo do bee hugs! (And sex and sex and sex and sex... yeah, earworm to the max! :) )
"Rats on the West Side, bedbugs uptown" -- it's alarming what an earworm this is. :)
Some form of exercise, even if it's only stretching. If I can't manage that, then sleep. ((Hugs))
Dancing! Five minutes of dancing!
[dances you around]
I try to attain a decent mountain pose...and breathe. Turning away from all the urgency sometimes helps sort out what really is important.
I like the colored pen solution to all those lists though!
Hugs and hopes for a better Tuesday.
Mountain pose works when I'm in my proper office at work. [nods] I mean, as long as the door is closed!
Hugs hugs, ALH! Happy day to you.
