|07:14 pm - In Which I Post Practically at the Last Minute, in order to keep the streak alive|
October 11, 11 things:
*I almost didn't manage to post today. Blame the untimely visit of the Black Dog.
*Or possibly the Carly Simon I listened to this afternoon.
*"We Have No Secrets" is a freaking amazing song.
*But it's depressing around the edges, like a lot of early Carly Simon.
*Not depressing: an early-evening drink with dear friends.
*Not depressing: a streetlight winking on against the last of the sunset, gold on gold.
*Not depressing: Master Danger's evil grin, suitable for Bond Villain or similar.
*Not depressing: Pulling out a rich purple textured Boden elbow-length sweater for the first time of wearing.
*Not depressing: tomorrow is Saturday.
*Maybe it's time to play a little more Carly Simon, or other singer-songwriter of your choice.
*You pick your favorite. :)
May you have a lovely start to your weekend!
Hang in there, honey. The Black Dog is strong this week.
And the same right back to you, Cronopio. Good thoughts and better days.

Hugs hugs, L, and more recovered Who.
Hey, sometimes you can make a little time for the pain...but that sweater sounds totally distracting from melancholy.
Dog grin, also.
Corgis do have faces like V for Vendetta masks, seen from the right angle.
Master Danger has an especially long and narrow wolfish face, which makes his grins more unsettling. :)
Happy Saturday, with delights all around!
Purple Boden sweater! (I wore my new pair of Boden olive corduroy trousers today.)
The purple Boden sweater would have gone nicely with olive trousers. :)
Cheers, Gwynne, and hugs.
One word: WEEKEND.
Hugs and more hugs.
And an awesome weekend to you, ALH! Joys and hugs to you!

Elbow-length sweaters are definitely in the Not Depressing category. Also Not Depressing is the fact that my new coat kept out the awful rain we had in London yesterday.
Hugs and tell all Dogs that aren't Master Danger to go away.
Oh hurrah for your new coat! (And for making it through the rain, too.)
Hugs and joys today, K!
I love fall for the single reason that it's sweater season. Have a good weekend!
Have a wonderful day, T! Hugs and more sweaters! :)
